|missiondescription=If you've got your eye on a career in business, then you'd better get a basic understanding of crucial industrial processes like mining ore and refining it into minerals. Even people who do nothing but play the market buying and selling minerals still understand where all that materiel comes from. 
I'd like you to demonstrate your understanding of this process: It would please me to see you using your new [[Venture]] frigate in the job it was designed for. Head out to these coordinates, where you'll find some [[Veldspar]] asteroids. Mine the ore and then, once you've returned to the station, refine it into [[Tritanium]]. You won't need all that much ore to fill my quota. 
If any pirates interrupt you, make sure to deal with them. Be aware too, that any equipment they might drop can also be reprocessed, in station, into minerals.
