Booster R&D expedition is an escalation of the 'Serpentis Vigil' combat site found by Probing for exploration sites. This expedition consists of four different open area locations (no acceleration gates) starting in a High Security system with the last location in a Low Security system. The NPC ships encountered range from Frigate class to Battlecruiser class.

Escalation Start
Destroying the NPC Tago Uriken in the second pocket of Serpentis Vigil will trigger this escalation with this pop up message.

NPC's, Spawn and Trigger Information
First Location
;Initial Spawn
:6 x Elite Frigate Harvester Guard (Coreli Guardian Protector)
:5 x Battlecruiser Harvester (Corelatis Platoon Leader)
:1 x Commander Cruiser Shadow Serpentis Chief Spy/Watchman Trigger

;Structures
:1 x Harvestable Cloud (Vermillion Cytoserocin) (50 Units)

Second Location
;Initial Spawn

Attack any ship in wave 2 triggers wave 3.

;Structures
:1 x Harvestable Cloud (Amber Cytoserocin) (20 Units)

Third Location
;1st Group @ 120 km
:4 x Battlecruiser Corelatis Wing Leader
:7 x Battlecruiser Corelatis Squad Leader

:7 x Elite Cruiser Corelum Guardian Chief Defender
:6 x Battlecruiser Corelatis Wing Leader

;3rd Group @ 140 km
:3 x Battlecruiser Corelatis Wing Leader
:4 x Battlecruiser Corelatis Squad Leader

;4th Group @ 200 km
:1 x Command Cruiser Shadow Serpentis Chief Guard Escalation trigger
:14 x Elite Cruiser Corelum Guardian Chief Protector EWar
:10 x Battlecruiser Corelatis Wing Leader
:3 x Battlecruiser Corelatis Squad Leader Trigger

;1st Spawn
:4 x Elite Frigate Coreli Guardian Patroller (EWAR)
:4 x Destroyer Corelior Infantry

;2nd Spawn
:3 x Elite Frigate Coreli Guardian Patroller (EWAR)
:3 x Battlecruiser Corelatis Platoon Leader

Fourth Location (Low Security)
;Initial Spawn
:10 x Serpentis Light Missile Battery

;Structures
:1 x Serpentis Stronghold (Trigger)

As the Stronghold is damaged various spawns appear.

Initial damage to stronghold
;Spawn 1
:4 x Coreli Guardian Safeguard (Elite Frigate) (EWAR)
:4 x Coreli Safeguard (Frigate)

Approx 50% shield
;Spawn 2
:4 x Corelatis High Captain (Battlecruiser)

Structure damage
;Spawn 4
:1 x Serpentis Drug Escort (Commander NPC) (Escalation End Trigger)

50% Structure
;Spawn 5
:3 x Corelatis Squad Leader (Battlecruiser)
:3 x Coreli Protector (Frigate)

Escalation End
After destroying the Drug Escort in Spawn 4

The Drug Escort spawn may drop Coreli A-type gear or a Daredevil BPC.
Stronghold can be destroyed and drops miscellaneous T1 loot.
