A stub is a wiki article which needs the addition of substantial amounts of content to accurately and definitively discuss its topic. Many stubs contain good amount of initial content however they lack expanded details or fail to detail entire aspects of the topic. A stub template is used to identify, classify, and categorize these articles so that they may be improved at a later date.

Articles marked with the template automatically appear on the [[:Category:Stubs]] page for future reference. If you find a page which needs more development, it can be marked as a stub by editing the article and including the {{tlink|Stub}} template code at the beginning of the article content.
