Target painters are used when you're having trouble hitting an opponent either due to their size and/or their speed. It works by increasing the target's signature radius making it easier for turrets and missiles to hit.

Target Painters have a cumulative effect. If you put two target painters on you ship and activate them both at one target, the effect will double, considered they're two identical target painters.

Every Target Painter are Mid slot items.
