Content I am sorry to have missed the meetings, but, I have been unavoidably preoccupied with a planet side matter. I am eager to catch up on what has transpired. Indeed, I do have a few points to bring up. First, I would like to commend ALL of the volunteers at Arek'Jaalan, your service has been magnanimous, so far. While we may not answer to the validity of the Amarrian deity, we will certainly push forward the bounds of scientific certainty.

Second, as many of you have been expecting, likely with healthy doses of antacids and minor astringents, I have a proposition to forward. I would like to add the Jove to the study fields within the Ancient Races Department, our own retrospective of the “only” ancient race we have first hand knowledge of. With all the pertinent links to Concord's own databases, of course.

How do we know that some of these ancients are not the discarded ruins of a Jovian Empire? Simply put, we do not. It bears reflecting on, that the Talocan show evidence of cloaking technology in reverse engineered hybrids like the “Smokescreen” cloaking system. We know of only one other race that possessed that technology in the ancient past. The Jove. During their first empire, the Jove committed their bloodlines to forced wholesale genetic manipulation. Imprisonment? Cultural Exchange?

Lastly, on the minor controversy of my attempts to define the relics I have been studying, I use what knowledge is available to me, and I admit, I am still human, sort of. So, I could be mistaken. You, my fellow researchers, may hold insights I am not privy to. I invite you all to approach the task logically and add to my own meager, and perhaps misguided, understanding of the items presented. “Hunks of metal and wire” does little to quantify ideas. The truth is out there, and Arek'Jaalan may be our best hope to uncover it. On a related tangent, the Binary Transpositional Code indeed looks like a very promising lead, and directly influenced my choice to include an analysis, I hope that by catagorizing these items, we will find the clues to move us forward.

Content Am I the only one who thinks its a tad careless to announce this over public comms? What with the Jovians being theorised to have ears in the highest levels and all.

That is not to mention, of course, that the Jovians themselves dont seem to keen on cooperating.

Content They will proberly find it interesting to be the ones studiet for once.

I agree to add the Jovians to the Ancient Races section, and I prefer it will happen when a discussion on the topic of the Jovians possible relation to the Sleepers and Talocans has been put together.

Content We are technically all "ancient races"... the Jove just managed to avoid declining back to cavemen throwing rocks at each other when the EVE gate collapsed.

Content True, and I have expressed the desire for the Project to someday turn it's attention to the current factions in New Eden, as well.. I just believe, as per my original message, that the Jove need to be addressed soon. The cursory evidence shows that there COULD be ties, and I agree with my department head, its should be discussed at large, and I would like Dr. Tukoss' input..
