A bug means that Contents area is included in table. Closed still shows even if omitted. Would be nice to have space for alliance logo.--FireFoxx80 13:49, 12 December 2008 (UTC)

Yeah, I see what you mean... I'll see what I can hack out with parserfunctions in a bit (if they're installed? For some reason CCP decided to hide that stuff, so I have no idea, I'll have to poke around.) Daquaris 19:20, 12 December 2008 (UTC)
*sigh*, it seems that parserfunctions aren't installed, so, we can't make templates that are smart enough to tell if certain attributes are specified. Daquaris 19:22, 12 December 2008 (UTC)
Shouldn't be that hard to add to mediawiki from what I remember, and it would be immensely useful to have on here --Ryushe 19:24, 12 December 2008 (UTC)
Indeed, it's VERY easy to install. It's one of the standard things I install on every MW setup I do :) Daquaris 19:27, 12 December 2008 (UTC)
I've already made this request to ISD and it's been passed onto the devs. We'll see what happens. However, I believe that the Table of Contents related bug is unrelated to parserfunctions. --Ix Forres 20:15, 12 December 2008 (UTC)
Could be the very old version of MediaWiki too :P Daquaris 20:16, 12 December 2008 (UTC)

Fix for TOC issues

I've rewritten this table in wikitable syntax at Template:Player Alliance/Rewrite. I've also fixed the TOC issue in this proposed rewrite, if memory serves, it's related to the

<h3>

tags (a bug in this older version of mediawiki), so, you'll have to substitute bold and bigger sizes for a H3. I haven't put the rewritten version in place yet, since I wanted to see what people thought. Daquaris 20:33, 12 December 2008 (UTC)

If this page isn't needed any more leave me a comment and I can delete this one and rename the other one. ISD Erilus Nex 20:49, 12 December 2008 (UTC)

The template should simply be substituted in; the usage section remains the same. I will merge this in if there is no objection --Ix Forres 20:51, 12 December 2008 (UTC)

Proposed changes implemented updating alliance pages. DrAtomic 23:24, 20 December 2008 (UTC)
Alliance pages updated (those that used the old template). DrAtomic 01:20, 21 December 2008 (UTC)
These changes have, several times, been disagreed with (namely the redesign aspect). Contact information likewise. CCP seem destined to never enable external images, so I'm giving up on the image being ID-based. To hell with trying to make life easy for YARR/ISD, let's just make this utter bloody chaos. This template should be using the same style as other templates, namely the turquoise style which is consistently used across all other templates, rather than using a style that adds 10+ kilobytes of crap to every page it's on. --Ix Forres 04:02, 23 December 2008 (UTC)
NOTHING USES THIS STYLE (the turquoise) EXCEPT YOU!!!! LOOK AT THE MAIN PAGE! SAME STYLE AS DR.ATOMIC! kalanosh 08:50, 24 December 2008 (UTC)
