Unstable wormholes

In the upcoming expansion of EVE Online: Apocrypha, the 10th free expansion. Players will be able to track down wormholes using new scanning techniques, skills and equipment. Being unstable these wormholes would sporadically open and close in a similar way to how hidden asteroid belts appear and disappear currently.
The unstable wormholes will function as gateways to new unconnected space. Completely unexplored and undiscovered, players will find new recources in these 'hidden' systems. Such artifacts will be the seed that pave the way to the game's new Tech 3 modular ship technology.
