The Greater BOB Community (GBC) is a coalition of alliances and corporations lead by, and living in the space of Band of Brothers (BOB).
The term Greater BOB Community entered common usage in 2007 as a parody to the propoganda of BOB's enemies that the groups living in its space were pets. The term pet is derogatory, and most often used to describe alliances and corporations living in the space of a larger, oppressive alliance.
The nature of the relationship between BoB and the other members of the community are diverse. Members negotiate conditions of their membership (e.g. access to BOB's space and payment) with BOB diplomats. It is believed that payments take many forms from isk payments, to payments in resources, to services. In adition, the members of the GBC are often required to fight alongside BoB in its wars.
