Colossus Technologies was formed during the beta testing stages of EVE. They were originally known by the ticker [CT], but this was modified when EVE launched, becoming [CTEC].
History
They are the oldest corporation within EVE since launch. This comes from a quote from an old developer blog by Oveur:
