Colossus_Technologies was formed during the beta testing stages of EVE. They were originally known by the ticker [CT], but this was modified when EVE launched, becoming [CTEC].

History

They are the oldest corporation within EVE since launch. This comes from a quote from an old developer blog by Oveur:

[CTEC] was one of the founding members of Xetic Federation along with X-Traders and Eclipse Tek Inc, the latter of which merged into [CTEC] before the game launched. By the time that alliances were formally introduced into EVE, Hegemonic Core had been brought into the XETIC fold. XETIC were, at one time, the largest alliance within the EVE universe, however this has since been surpassed as alliances come and go.

Colossus Technologies was originally founded by Night, and is now run by ElDiabloRojo.
