Games of State is a political news and talk program produced by the Nugoeihuvi megacorporation and currently hosted by Shiomiken Savalenta, an award-winning political and business journalist (the two commonly go hand and hand in the Caldari State). Savalenta has helmed the program since YC 103, after she served for almost a decade as Nugoeihuvi's Kimotoro news bureau chief.

Considered one of the oldest and most respected news programs in the State, it includes everything from interviews with prominent Caldari political and business figures up to and including megacorporate CEOs, panel discussions with experts from a variety of fields, and in-depth political reporting from Nugoeihuvi correspondents.

Though generally acknowledged to have a bias towards the Practical bloc, Games of State is best known for being iconoclastic, especially under the current host. Shiomiken Savalenta was one of the first journalists to voice doubts about the strength of the Caldari economy in the mid-100s, and has been a frequent critic of the Heth regime and the current war against the Federation. This has made her program popular with Liberal and Practical leaders, who have appeared on her program many times, but it has also brought a fair share of ire from the Provists and their Patriot allies. So far, Nugoeihuvi has stood behind Savalenta, however, and their well-funded legal department has shielded the program from trouble.
