Content I propose the formation COSMOS Heritage Archaeology Teams to investigate the various relic sites found in New Eden.

Stated Objectives
1) To conduct Archaeology investigations of ancient relic sites.
2) Collect ancient relics.
3) Obtain other investigative materials already obtained by hostile ((NPC Pirate)) 'tomb robbers' and 'relic hunters'.
4) Collate relics and document sites.

Composition
Ideally there should be at least 4 Teams, each to investigate the relic sites within one COSMOS cluster. The reasoning for this is to allow parallel investigations while maintaining and developing local expertise and work the various sites in each cluster systematically. It may be possible given sufficient volunteers to deploy additional teams in each cluster, but this is not initially necessary.

The basic operating procedure are to be decided but will remain guidelines to be modified as the team leadership views necessary.. My own investigations into the Sleeper sites in Ani and Yan Jung sites in Algintal suggest the following

The Composition of each team should be
One lead archaeologist (Archaeology 4+/Hacking 4+)
Additional archaeologists as necessary, facilitated by debris field size.
A security team is essential lead by a Wing Commander or above ideally supported by combat logistics.
Salvage support is not essential but recommended.
All team member will be volunteers.

My recommended composition is :
2 Archaeologists, I find Force Recon cruisers ideal for this role.
2 Combat Vessels, Command Ship + Battle Cruiser or Battleship if gates allow.
1 Logistics.
1 Salvage, Tanked Salvage Cruiser, relic site gates typically exclude Noctis access & destroys are generally too vulnerable.

The individual teams will be free to pursue their respective research agenda as their expertise and insight dictates.

The only requirement will be to document their discoveries to the public record (EVElopedia), suggested guidelines for this to be developed but would include the following information.

The name, description and location of each relic site.
Access details and keys necessary to navigate gate access the site.
Details of the structures examined ((container name)), access methods & skills utilised ((Archaeology or Hacking)) and relics discovered.
Post Expedition analysis.

The primary purpose of this programme is the documentation of Relic sites to facilitate wider understanding and deeper investigation. Therefore it is not a requirement of this programme to supplied to AQ, I would hope the teams will choose to do so.

The first step this programme it to assemble volunteers for Lead Archaeologist and Combat Section Leaders, please express any existing ancient expertise or preferred deployment area. If you will to volunteer in a support role please contact the relevent volunteer team leaders.
