Content People call me a madwoman. Perhaps I am, given I am a fan of the esoteric, insane writings of those like Macaper, Lovecraft and other gallente authors of the horror genre. I sit here at my terminal, writing like they likely did from time to time, inable to sleep. That is not the point, however.

I think many things obvious, such as the existance of other clusters of potentially habitable stars that we've yet reached or opened up. Places we've yet to walk to and explore. I'm interested in the sleepers because I have a feeling they know something about those distant places, those places that so far only exist in mythos of the insane I mentioned above. Those places we're afraid to dare to go to.

I have this feeling because of the apparent nature of wormhole space itself. I have a feeling they knew how to bridge unimaginably huge distances between stars. Distances larger than where our typical, portable jump drives can take us. They knew how to bend space to their will. There are inactive, damaged stargates in wormhole space that appear to be of Talocan origin (or are they sleeper origin? More on that another time, from another person entirely, possibly). Where did they go? What did they know that we didnt?

Our stargates already bridge huge distances between regions of space, they are immense lengths of entirely empty space. Not unlike some areas of W-space, at times.

Before sleep takes me and prevents the creation of more horror stories like those I admire, I pose a set of questions for the night for others to ponder on:

Where did those astral travelers go during their time? What did they know that we do not? Why did they need stargates for abnormally huge distances?

How can we fix them and learn from their constructions?
