Mine 'N' Refine
Mine 'N' Refine is a predominately 0.0 NRDS industrial corporation formed in 2005 and has consistantly remained active ever since. Over the years the corporation and the alliance it ended up creating (the unforgiven alliance) have been through alot of different scenerios and managed to overcome and grow stronger from them. They take in many new pilots and train them with the wealth of knowledge they have amassed, in order to help the new pilots in which ever aspect of the universe they wish to embark.
Early Beginnings/Pre Mine 'n' Refine
Originally the corp was established by Kronos in 2003 under the name "Mine 'n' Refine Inc." They started of as a small close knit group of miners with the plan to mine and manufacture ships and weaponry for anti-piracy. After a year or so mid 2004 the corp, as it was then, disbanded and merged in with the group "Band of Brothers Mining Corporation" who would later go on to form the infamous BOB alliance. A year or so past, and as BOB mining began to delve slowly further into low security space and beyond, Kronos and a few others decided they didn't wish to follow the course to 0.0. Thus the corporation Mine 'n' Refine, as it is still known today, was born in mid 2005.
The Journey Begins
The group began based out of Piekura and the surrounding area. Kronos had hoped that with enough supplies he would be able to turn the system of Piekura into a mini-trade hub. Due to ore theives and other such things they decided to hold there mining operations in the system of Vaajaita. The system of Vaajaita was just what they needed for the few members they had. With 3 asteroid belts, and no competition for ore, there were enough asteroids for them to host their weekly operations in relative peace. Later wishing to expand further into researching blueprints for more efficient manufacturing they joined the alliance New Eden Research in late 2007; which housed many corporations with POS's for alliance use.
Time in New Eden Research
The life in their new alliance New Eden Research taught them many things. For one it would be the first time the corp would ever be involved in wars. Weeks after weeks of wars eventually frustrated some of their members to try and break the cycle, the cycle being staying docked all day and staying away from war targets. It was one war in particular in which they found a mutually frustrated alliance member who captured and killed a target they were in the pursuit of and thus a friendship was started.
Paranoia, vengeance and departure
The pilot they formed a bond with was called HybridOnSlaught, Spud to his friends, he ran the corporation "Durt industries inc." Many wars past within New Eden Research, each one causing more and more frustrations until one day Spud, and a former pilot of Mine 'n' Refine, Proteus "Max" Maximus decided enough was enough and that if you can't beat the war deccers they may aswell have fun blasting the helpless miners/industrialists they had spent months trying to defend. They formed the corporation "New Eden Outcasts" with the soul purpose to destroy and disrupt New Eden Research (but would later go on to find much enjoyment in declaring wars across high sec.) During this war it was evident to most within New Eden Research that everyone in Mine 'n' Refine were carrying on mining operations normally, thus many accusations occured. The NER alliance leader, Tamia Clant the "paranoid", began accusing members of Mine 'n' Refine of giving intelligence and assisting Spud and Max during the war. Which, unbeknown to them, was untrue with the exception of course that Spud and Max weren't had agreed not to attack their friends in Mine 'n' Refine. Because of this Mine 'n' Refine were cast out of New Eden Research, marked as traitors and outlaws. As for the fate of New Eden Research few months past and they were targetted by Goonswarm Federation who aimed to kill all their POS's (which locations were all publically available on the forums.) and knowing they wouldn't be able to defend against such force many corporations left New Eden Research causing the alliance to disband for a first but not last time.
