The Sixth Empire - Concept

At the Symposium of Emergent Threats of YC 117, Max Singularity (Character) coined the term "The Sixth Empire", which is a conceptual idea that all Capsuleers of New Eden in their entirety from null sec to high sec make up The Sixth Empire. The concept creates an identification as the Capsuleers are part of an 'anti-organization' made up of competing, disparate, and conflicting power blocs. This adversity has strengthened the Capsuleers and over the decades they are becoming stronger and their own force. A force that has the existing five empires concerned, including CONCORD.

The other five empires are the original Gallente Federation, Caldari State, Minmatar Republic, Amarr Empire, and Jove Directorate. Other than the Jove, the Capsuleers all originate from the the first four empires.

Sixth Empire - Alliance

The Sixth Empire Alliance was named after the founding concept noted above. To denote the difference between the alliance and the concept, a subtle spelling is used with the preceding word 'the'. When used as 'The Sixth Empire' that denotes the concept, whereas 'the Sixth Empire' denotes the Sixth Empire Alliance.
