Suggestion to resize FW2.jpg and FW3.jpg

These two images squish the text against the left margin on my display (which is 1024px wide). I would suggest resizing these images to 50% of their current size. -- Kessiaan

This page is quite cluttery and long.

Perhaps some spacing layouts should be implemented, and it doesnt look right with the massive screenshots of FW windows just sitting in the middle of the screen. Since it's already being discussed, it can just be thumbnailed and placed on the side in case someone actually wants to see it? - Abelard

1.2.1 - As a player

"Players joining up individually must not have left a FW Militia in the past 24 hours. "

Was this a change since FW was introduced? I have personally left and rejoined FW on the same day. However, there was a 24 hour waiting period from the last time you joined FW. This would not allow you to join twice in one day, but still rejoin the same day u left, if more than 24 hours after u joined.

That was back in July though. perhaps changes were implemented. My employment history shows it. - Abelard.

General Layout And Formatting

I have begun overhauling this document as it really needs it. Currently the document is more just a wall of text that will turn readers away. I have begun going through the document from the start. I bumped up several of the headings to H2 so that the have the underline and break the page up a bit more. I also resized the FW2 and FW3 images. The FW2 image is ok I think. but the FW3 image due to its size and the size of the section it was meant for is still centered on the page.

I should added that I edited 5.2 a bit to make a few clarifications.

Confusing and ambiguous

The section "Player Aggression in Factional Warfare" is full of ambiguity and confusion caused by possible contradictions. It should be re-worded, especially the WARNING boxes.

Warning: Shooting a FW pilot part of another player corporation not located in your own faction does not make you lose faction or FW militia standings (though it remains an act of aggression and will activate the Global Criminal Flag, resulting in CONCORD in high-security space, sentry guns shooting and security status loss). However, shooting a FW pilot part of a NPC corporation Militia will result in standing losses.

This is a very hard to read couple of sentances and extremely misleading and contradictory (if mis-read) to the opening statement in the section:

Since all corporations in a particular empire faction are permanently at war with their enemies, FW players may be attacked anywhere by their faction opponents

Silly links

Some of the links in this article lead off to rather irrelevant pages. "Sovereignty" for instance links to the corporation management skillbook of the same name. Needs cleanup.

Quick-n-dirty cleanup

I've removed whole "For more information" block as it was completely redundant, circularly referencing the same page that was already linked in the previous text block.

In short: such sentences SHOULD NOT appear on wiki, it's against the very idea of hypertext data presentation and wiki as one of it's realizations.

It MAY only appear on disambiguation pages, but SHOULD be avoided even there.

Use simple narrative style for your articles, and insert links to clarifying articles where it's most appropriate (or at the first entry of a term on a page).

Do not repeatedly link the same page over and over again (xmas tree syndrome) in the same article, unless your firs link is gone off screen in reading mode.

Podkilling with Factional Warfare

I have not been able to find any information about the legality of pod killing with factional warfare. Is it the same as normal war-dec's, where you can kill ships with no consequence, but still take a security hit for pod killing? In addition, will pod killing trigger concord security in hi-sec? --Loki Althorin 03:28, 7 April 2010 (UTC)

If you are part of one of the militias you are at war with your militia opponents, which means that you could shoot them without penalties. There are some specialties which are different to a normal WarDec you could find these explained in the article. Whats not especially explained there is on same behalf than a WarDec. About your special question on pods, yes your pod could be killed by your militia opponents and they don't get a penalty for that. --ISD Keitiro 13:24, 7 April 2010 (UTC)
