Early life and education
Valerie Vynneve was born in orbit of Oursulaert VI, a storm planet, aboard the Chemal Tech Research Center, where her father Oreste Vynneve was lead engineer.
At the age of twelve Vynneve's parents enrolled her in a boarding middle school on the Duvolle Laboratories Research Center in orbit of Moon 3 of Oursulaert VII, a gas planet considered to be the capital of the Oursulaert system due to the concentration of stations there. She graduated as Valedictorian four years later.
Vynneve is then briefly recorded as atending a preparatory school on Caille, but for reasons unknown she tranferred to a feeder school for the Center for Advanced Studies at the CAS station in orbit of Cistuvaert V-12, where she graduated as Salutatorian in YC110. She then enrolled in university at CAS, where she graduated with a major in mechanical engineering and a minor in anthropology in YC115, a year behind her original class, before joining the CAS' four-year capsuleer training programme.
