Biographical Information

Early Life

YC85-94: Birth and Early Childhood

Zachary Dellinger was born to parents Archibald and Katherine Dellinger in the city of Genèse, Deltole VI, on 9 December, YC85. The father studied Yan Jung technology for the University of Caille, focusing primarily on the ruins upon the surfaces of Deltole’s planets. Katherine, noticing a distinct lack of what most would consider 'fun' within Genèse, opened a Gallentean club with funds from familiar benefactors within the Federation. The family was not wealthy, but could pay the bills and provide some means to live in relative comfort.

Mr. Dellinger was a normal child living within a colony of researchers. Archibald's position within the University saw Mr. Dellinger engaging his studies at a young age. These studies included mathematics, social studies, and music theory and performance.

Mr. Dellinger is the oldest of two children. Little else regarding his child is easily accessible via public domain.

YC95-110: Education

Zachary began sitting in on Caille educational courses at allowance from his father’s connections. His studies involved many of the University's focuses during his 5 year period at the University. Mr. Dellinger records indicate degrees in public speaking, anthropology, and economics.

It is suspected that Mr. Dellinger took classes classical music, due to his proficiency with the piano and a variety of stringed instruments. He has attributed his interest in music to his mother and what he had learned spending some time at her club when he was a child.

YC110-112: Tour of Duty / Capsuleer Initiative

After his impromptu education, Mr. Dellinger opted to spend two years aboard the Navy Dominix Caltruuse patrolling the Deltole region to repel the pirate corporations from the system without his parents approval. Interviews with Mr. Dellinger indicate that this was due to a ‘wanderlust that could not be satisfied staring into a singular set of ruins of a long-dead society.’

During the initial medical examination for Federal Navy service, it was discovered that Mr. Dellinger’s neurology was compatible to the capsuleer implants. While the intrigue of space and other political empires intrigued him, Zachary opted to stay local with the fleet at this time for unknown reasons.

Mr. Dellinger learned much from his tour of duty, but the intrigue of the capsuleer life, along with the numerous failed attempts to convince his family of his ability to live independently from them, led Mr. Dellinger to return to the University of Caille in YC112 to sign up for the capsuleer initiative.

Amarrian Work Study

YC112.5.30-112: Beginnings of Work Study under Fadun

Whilst a true Federationist at heart, Mr. Dellinger opted to take part in a work-study program focused around diplomatic relations with the Amarrian Empire. The University of Caille arranged mentorship in Amarrian capsuleer political and economics under Fadun. According to inverviews with Mr. Dellinger, this arrangement did nothing for relations with his father.

Fadun met Mr. Dellinger in the Gamis sector of Ammatar space under supervisor of Fadun’s corporpation: Nova Productions Research Division. The Amarrian taught Zachary primarily of capsuleer cooperation with friends and business associates to the betterment of those around them. During this time, Mr. Dellinger would meet Mr. [Norman Vales (Character)|Norman Vales], and would begin a partnership friendship that would last the better part of a decade.

The corporation dissolved due to a security leak in YC112 that threatened the freedoms of those within the corporation; slavery to a larger entity within capsuleer space seemed likely. Fadun guided the four who would follow him to move the corporation to Amarrian, leaving the Ammatar region for reasons of safety, to continue the work-study program and his own corporate endeavors.

YC112-113: The Establishment of Xim-Retni

A corporation developed around the mutual well-being of its members, despite nationalities, was created by Fadun: the Xim-Retni corporation. The corporation functioned under the industrial head of its leader, with Mr. Dellinger taking a more diplomatic role. Mr. Dellinger worked closely with Chemal Tech representatives, a relationship he continues to nurture today.

After some time, Fadun departed Xim-Retni to join the Ammarian militia. Mr. Dellinger was promoted to Chief Executive Officer.

Disappearance and Breakdown

YC113-Early 114: Xim-Retni

For a little less than a year, Mr. Dellinger held the reigns of the Xim-Retni corporation, appointing Norman Vales and Dracos Dwimmerlaik as his seconds. Within a month, assets that had been owned by Fadun were replaced with assets owned by the three. The corporation prospered.

On YC114.3.19, Mr. Dellinger announced his resignation from the Xim-Retni corporation and appointed one of his seconds in command to take over due to personal issues and failure to properly manage a corporate war effort, resulting in a loss of corporate assets. On YC114.3.26, Mr. Dellinger departed the corporation.

YC114.3.26-114.5.16: Unknown

It is not clear where Mr. Dellinger went during this time, nor what had specifically occurred to him after his leave of Xim-Retni. All that is known is that during this period, Mr. Dellinger did not frequent Empire-Controlled space. Some CONCORD reports indicate a Federation Comet tagged with his signature aimlessly wandering the Devoid and Domain regions, but reliable information on his whereabouts are not well known.

Please update datalogs should records be obtained.

YC114.5.16-YC121.4.5: Traumatic Return

On YC114.5.16, Mr. Dellinger’s shuttle was towed to a Chemal Tech station in Vale with significant injuries. Medical responded to the docking bay to treat Mr. Dellinger, who’s injuries were severe. Official Chemal Tech reports from staff indicate the wounds were self-inflicted: Mr. Dellinger had attempted to rip out parts of his capsuleer interface during his voyage back to high-security space, and when that failed, sabotaged his shuttle to explode.

Mr. Dellinger was transferred to a jump clone as the injuries were too severe. However, within a month, Mr. Dellinger reported significant pain in the new jump clones limps and insisted that they be replaced with cybernetics, and scars began to resurface on the skin of the clone as if from some rash or disease. Reports of mental trauma from the SSC have been made, but nothing definitive has been returned.

General reports indicate that after two years of rehabilitation, he would regularly perform at his mother’s club.

Resurgence

YC121-Present

After a significant number of communications with former colleague Norman Vales, Mr. Dellinger has reactivated his CONCORD license as a capsuleer. Mr. Dellinger proceeded to buy stocks for the previously closed Xim-Retni Corporation and initiated a re-branding of the corporation, opening its doors in Oursulaert.

Several meetings between Mr. Dellinger and his previous associate led to the creation of The Xim-Retni Conglomerate in Federation Space.
