Sniperboy (Character)

Sniperboy is a player who has had a rough time since the beginning of his game play. He started in 2007 and flew with his big brother for a time. One day trouble struck while they were flying together. Sniperboy could only fly an Osprey class cruiser while his brother was in a Hulk. A pirate showed up and destroyed their can, sniperboy attempted to engage but his brother strongly urged him to reconsider. The can was filled with an incredibly valuable ore not found in many high sec systems that would have gotten sniperboy his Retriever. A while after this had happened a greater tragedy came when another pirate took another of his cans while he had a Covetor. Sniperboy quickly obtained his Osprey now fitted for combat but still weak and attacked the pirate in his cruiser. If sniperboy would have loaded another missile launcher onto his ship or better missiles he would have won. Even without that he had taken the pirate down to structure because the pirate had capacitor stealing modules. Sniperboy then left EVE for over six months. When he came back he had some more troubles when a neighborhood kid came into his home through the open back door and started playing on his computer while he was getting the mail. He had just joined a corp and had fought in a battle with them. He lost his Drake in a practice skirmish just before the battle and had lost a pair of Caracals when he did not want a fellow corp member to fight alone. But the kid the same day just after the battle did much more damage to sniperboy. The child nearly ruined any chances of sniperboy ever doing anything good in EVE anymore as he upset the corp he was in. The corp booted him.

Sniperboy spent a long time mining to get his freighter which has been a massive help to him and his one true treasure in the universe. Sniperboy was taking a Raven through low sec one day with most of his possessions when a gang of pirates killed it then him. His second Raven didn't fair much better. He lost it to Concord when he accidentally fired off a smartbomb near someone who wasn't in his corp. The third Raven was killed in the same manner.

Sniperboy then joined Obsidian Fleet with Kajj Mackallister. He began to grow and learn some great new skills. Sniperboy lost another Drake during a transport mission to escort a friendly corporations Charon to a system. The pilot made the mistake of sitting by a stargate for 45 minutes with an Orca, and two entire mining stations in his cargo. The moment their scout went through the gate the pirate camp came. Sniperboy was one of the last personnel to die but he forgot to activate his pair of Invulnerability fields both tech two. He was repairing the Charon but did not do so well once he died.

Some time afterwords when Kajj was now the ambassador for the alliance, sniperboy was having some major connection problems and had only been online for an hour or so over the course of two months. Perseus Myrmidon booted him from the corp for lack of time online and booted many other people who were also online. Sniperboy finally had the connection restored when he got a new computer for school that had the ability to run EVE.

Sniperboy had kept it a major secret, but Kajj Mackallister had gotten him a Phoenix class dreadnought for well under market value. Sniperboy went into a new corporation that was in the main war against other races. He did not know. He obtained a Crane that allowed him to fit his dreadnought with the four main modules meant for one, siege module, and citadel torpedo launchers. Sniperboy left the corporation after a short while and continued to mine on his own. He joined a promising corporation of miners that had just started with his new best friend from the previous corporation ACH1LL35. ACH1LL35 made sniperboy the fleet mining captain as soon as he joined for the best other miners only had Retrievers. Sniperboy did not know what to do but mine. A pair of new members and a member to be made things tragic though. Thor Lighting had joined the corporation and turned out to be a spy. Strat Six had also joined the corporation and at first showed promise in being a valuable naval officer. Alias721 was thinking of joining the corporation with an Orca and the ability to fly a Rorqual.

Tragedy came when strat six attacked and destroyed sniperboy's rigged Hulk. Costing sniperboy over 200 million isk in damages. Sniperboy asked strat to hand him the items found from the wreck but strat wanted sniperboy to hand him different amounts of money. Starting at 200 million then working up to over 1 billion isk. Sniperboy refused all of them and was now engaging in combat with strat six as following with the rules of engagement of fellow corp members who destroy a friendly ship. The law was to destroy strat six's Drake. Sniperboy grabbed his Drake and went to a location that alias721 had marked as a battle zone and had told both of the pilots to take from the cargo containers in order to begin the engagement promising there to be needed weapons to make it a fair fight.

A fellow corp mate called Daniard went to watch in his Retriever, as alias and strat led sniperboy right into a trap. When sniperboy took from the can alias721 decloaked a Manticore and started to warp scramble his Drake. He was no match for that kind of firepower. Shortly after the battle strat six destroyed Daniard and his Retriever thus proving that strat only was in the corp for kills and to get at sniperboy's money. Sniperboy left the corp and mined on his own, he had a report placed against him to CCP by strat that was false. Sniperboy took no chances as he gave all of his items to his friend ACH1LL35, he gave him his Charon, Phoenix, and a general freight container containing over 500 million isk worth of items. After some time ACH1LL35 gave sniperboy all the items back and sniper then proceeded to sell his dread. He obtained enough money for him to get a cheap Drake from ACH1LL35 and he himself got a full Tengu tech 3 ship. He wanted to show his respects to chill for holding his items for him so he got him his own Tengu and 2 sub systems. ACH1LL35 said it was way too much but sniperboy would have none of it. He told chill that he wouldn't take the items back as he had his own Tengu with all 5 sub systems. Sniperboy rejoined ACH1LL35's corp just in time to watch strat six get kicked from the corp, he had remained outside of stations even when he logged offline whenever chill was online just to make sure he kept the corp open because he wanted the corp for his own. Strat six started his own corporation and decided to begin relentlessly starting wars between the two corporations and sniperboy decided to keep chill and the others out of danger. It was sniperboy that strat six wanted, none of the others.

Sniperboy is currently flying alone waiting for the day he can rejoin ACH1LL35's corp whenever strat six finally leaves him alone and repays him the 324 million isk he owes him.
